SUMMER STAR TEAM

Summer Star is an Australian-based fashion house with a multidisciplinary approach. Through founder and creative director David Jaikumar’s interest in Textile fabrics and menswear, Summer Star has become a well-respected creator of formal ready-to-wear menswear for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Our Collections are defined by David’s signature CONTEMPO design and attention to detail, with an emphasis on London Tailoring principles and custom-developed fabrics.

DESIGN TEAM

Our product development team works closely with leading design houses from London to put together our new Summer and Winter collections. We work with two emerging London designers to create our Savile Row and Bruton collections.

PRODUCTION TEAM – AUCKLAND

Our Auckland-based Warehouse and distribution operations are under the watchful eyes of Darwin Stephen. With a background in engineering and manufacturing, Darwin keeps the wheels turning.

SALES TEAM – NEW ZEALAND

Summer Star is lucky to have Raj George’s services and extensive experience in the menswear retail space. Raj is an experienced player, having worked with the biggest suit retailer in New Zealand for many years. Raj is a calming influence within our busy sales team.

SALES TEAM – NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA

Summer Star works in partnership with KANDA Marketing to service our NSW and ACT-based customers. Karl Cukeric is a treasure to our Sydney customers and a veteran in the menswear trade.

SALES TEAM – VICTORIA AND WIDER AUSTRALIA

Danny Hanvey is our Australian Sales all-rounder; Danny travels extensively through Australia and keeps close contact with our customers. Danny is our sales Super-Star.
